Geoffrey received his BSc in Geology from University of Nairobi in 2008, and his MSc degree in 2012. He was UNU Fellow at UNU-GTP in 2012. He has been working on his PhD studies at UI since late 2017, on a UNU-GTP Fellowship. Geoffrey is married and has 2 children.
Geoffrey is employed by the Geothermal Development Company, Ltd. – GDC in Kenya, since 2010. He has been involved in the exploration of several volcano logical and geothermal systems in Kenya, with emphasis on the northern part of the Kenyan rift. His research interests lie in exploring how geology, alteration and volcanic evolution associated with magmatic processes and conditions in the magma chamber through petrology and geochemistry can give insights into evolution of high-temperature systems.
